JPRN CODE OF CONDUCT
JPRN's founding doctrines are based on professionalism, respect for others, non-discrimination and honest efforts to assist others. This Code provides principles to which all JPRN members are expected to adhere and advocate. They embody rules regarding individual responsibilities in dealing with members and with others outside of JPRN.
All members of JPRN will:
- Act in good faith, honestly, professionally and ethically;
- Gladly share contacts, knowledge and skills with other members;
- Respect the confidentiality of information or contacts acquired and be diligent and discreet in dealing with such contacts;
- Deliver on promises to fellow members in a timely and accurate manner;
- Respect other members by not promoting personal business interests with solicitations at meetings or other JPRN events, or mass solicitations via e-mail, mail or telephone.
Internal Service Providers Policy
Members of JPRN often provide services which may be beneficial to other JPRN members. JPRN supports these members through our networking focus as we seek to encourage members to be aware of and to support each other’s businesses and professional development. It is important within this context that we have policies in place that maintain the value of the unique JPRN networking experience to our members. Towards that end our service providers policy seeks to enable our members to freely network within JPRN without the concern that their contact information will be used for marketing by internal or external providers and that our networking experiences are truly mutual in context.
Our Internal Service Provider Policies are:
- There will be no mass marketing of business services to other members via email or any other means.
- Passive website marketing is permitted (Website posting with click-throughs)
- In addition to this policy members, as always, are expected to follow the JPRN code of conduct |
